Artwork description:

A minimalist extra large canvas in subtle pink, mauve, grey and peach.

Sometimes you can just stop and stare when the sun comes up and touches the world with soft finger tips of magical colour. Standing at the edge of the water between Skye and the mainland, the hills recede in soft gentle heaps of grey, melting into one another. The vibrant colours are so fleeting, a few minutes and they are gone so this image is one to treasure, to keep your spirits up on rainy days.

This print is available is smaller sizes and in a square format, get in touch if you need any advice. It is also one of a pair which work well as a Diptych.

TITLE: Island Dance I

This makes a stunning feature for your home, whether over the fireplace or over a dining table it will become a talking point!

This is an original, fine art giclee print from a limited edition print run, only a very few will ever be sold around the world.

I believe in giving my clients beautiful artwork on luxury papers that hold their colours for a lifetime!

For these special prints of my work I use dreamy, light textured Canson Canvas and the highest quality inks.

People often say that my images look like paintings because of the richness of the colours, the depth of the black and the texture of the materials I use. Canson are one of the oldest paper manufacturers in the world, they have been making paper for over 450 years in France. Founded in 1557 and printers to Louis XVI, their paper was used by Voltaire and Napoleon and the Montgolfier brothers used Canson paper to make the first hot air balloon. Canson paper was used by Picasso, Ingres, Chagal, Miro and many other artists. They have been making paper and canvas for photography since this art began over 150 years ago. Canson are Eco Friendly - they purchase paper pulp only from forests managed in a sustainable way which also makes them pretty special.

A few notes worth mentioning:
The size given is image size. It is quoted in inches and in addition to the final size there is an extra border, called a gallery wrap, this is for the sides of the picture.

Canvases are unframed and unmounted, they need to be stretched or framed once you get them. They are matte varnished and come with 1.5 inch gallery wrap or with white or dark coloured sides, just let me know which you prefer. Once ready, they are carefully wrapped in acid free tissue then shipped in a sturdy art tube to ensure safe delivery.
