Where the sea meets the sky is a light blue impressionist seascape of a sunrise at
An Corran, a tiny beach on the far north of the Isle of Skye in the Outer Hebrides.
Our beautiful little island is a place of utter peace and tranquility on gentle summer mornings. A place where the sea and sky meet and gently kiss the mountain tops.
The small island on the left of the picture is home to a flock of sheep that are taken over by boat and left to graze through the summer months. The mountains in the distance are on the Scottish mainland a few miles away. The colours in this image are so serene, the sky seemed to be glowing and the long exposure captures the silvery sensation of the delicate clouds.
This is the canvas version, each canvas comes with a 2 inch white border for your framer to wrap around the frame.
Bespoke sizes available and print on paper also available on request.
About My Work

I will print this canvas myself, having spent years learning this skill I enjoy controlling the colour representation at all stages to ensure you get a truly handmade image.
About My Materials
People often say that my images look like paintings because of the richness of the colours, the depth of the black and the texture of the materials I use.
Other Printing Options
I am happy to take custom orders or print on fine art papers, just drop me a line if you prefer this in another size.
A Note on Canvases
