Original artwork description:

Modern watercolor painting for the interior “Indian Venice. City on Water Udaipur” was painted from life in the very beautiful Indian city of Udaipur, Rajasthan state during my plein air travel in India in 2019.

The city is popularly called "Indian Venice" because it is located on the shores of the picturesque Lake Picola with many beautiful buildings, palaces and forts, as well as bridges over canals like in Venice in Italy.

There was a beautiful sunset on the lake overlooking the fortress and palaces on the water. This motive inspired me a lot and I tried to convey my impressions with the help of paints on paper.

Udaipur was the last city of my trip to India in March 2019 and the last painting from life there.

The work was painted by professional watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.

Also on my page you can see other original paintings painted from life during my plein air travels in Italy, India, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey. And also see my paintings with flowers and still lifes painted from nature.

All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
