Incandescence (2022) Original Oil Painting by Angela Suto

70 x 103 x 0.3cm (unframed)

1 Artist Review

£2,700

Incandescence is a city consumed by its own light. Amber air dissolves buildings, cables and traffic into a single heated atmosphere; forms emerge slowly, as if seen through rain, smoke or memory. Small human figures remain within the glow, giving scale to a city that appears on the verge of dematerialising. Rather than describing a specific place, the painting captures the sensation of an urban landscape at the threshold of disappearance—still solid at its edges, already turning into light.

Oil on MDF, 70 × 103 cm. Unframed and varnished. Signed on the front and back. A signed Certificate of Authenticity is included.
