With this painting, Ludmila opens a new series of works called "George Alamanu". In Cyprus, where Ludmila lives and works, there is a magical place created by nature itself. These are chalk cliffs that form a bizarre shore, where once, according to legend, a boat with St. George moored. This ship sailed from Germany - hence the name of the place - George Alamanu. A new series of works by the artist is a challenge to her. Bright bold colors disappear in this new series, they are replaced by calm "chalky" tones. Chalk color before sunrise. Some part of the rock has already brightened, the other part is still in the shade, the sea is barely visible on the horizon, but the pinkish color of the sky already portends a very fast sunrise.
