'Take this night away from me, let me become the dawn. Strip me of my fears, clothe me in possibilities. Only then will my eyes truly see.' (Fabrizio Caramagna). This is where I drew inspiration for this painting, in which two figures immersed in the seascape are lulled by the silence that precedes the day. Light cuts through the wind, steeped in salty air, which, caressing the bodies bathed in the sea’s glow, seeps into the sky cloaked in gold, reminding us that every beginning is a gift that asks only to be lived.

Materials used:

Acrylic, watercolor and tempera on paper and cardboard
