- In the army now
Original artwork description
Joining the army can be a defining decision in a young person's life, shaped by ideals, ambitions, and hopes for the future. But such a choice affects more than the individual; it also touches the life of a partner who shares that future. For me, this image explores the tension between an idealized vision and the reality that may follow. The soldier represents a path that can promise purpose, identity, and adventure, while the woman evokes the personal relationships that remain connected to this decision. What begins as a dream may turn out differently in reality, and every life choice carries consequences we cannot fully anticipate.
