In Her Mind: Unshakable (2026) Original Oil Painting by Kinga Zawidlak
60 x 60 x 4cm (unframed)
£1,018.56
Original artwork description
A serene woman in a flowing blue gown stands on still water, her eyes closed and her hair lifted by the wind. From the waist down, her dress turns into a stormy sea: white-capped waves, streaks of lightning and a small sailing ship tossed on the swell. This original figurative oil painting explores the contrast between outer calm and inner turbulence, the storms we carry quietly inside while the surface stays composed.
The storms raging within her don't rob her of her strength. She's learned to navigate them calmly. The hardest battle is always the one we fight with ourselves.
Unmoved not because nothing moves her. Unmoved because she has learned not to drown in her own waves.
The painting is made in oils on canvas . The sky and the calm lake are softly blended, while the waves of the skirt are painted with thick, energetic brushwork that catches the light and gives the surface a tactile depth. A palette of cobalt and turquoise blues with peach and apricot clouds creates a dreamlike, romantic atmosphere.
Size: 50x70 cm, square format. Signed: front, back]. Unframed, with painted edges, ready to hang.
A striking statement piece for a living room, bedroom or study, and its square format works well above a sofa or console.
Ships from Poland, carefully packed to protect the paint surface, with a certificate of authenticity. Colours may look slightly different on different screens.
