Original artwork description
By using colors like red and green I didn't expect to find the sea or the sky. Just two colors and one shape and up they go! This monoprint even surprised me!
It is made with acrylic paint on a home made gelatine plate.
Printing gives me the pleasure of surprise. It always turns out different than expected. This triggers new ideas. My monoprints often consist of multiple layers of paint printed on top of each other. And sometimes after that printing process I also draw or paint on the prints.
