Imperial Mughal Court | Masterpiece 24K Gold (2022) Original Gouache Painting by Mukesh Swami

47 x 66 x 0.1cm (unframed)

£3,555.62

Imperial Mughal Court is one of my flagship masterpieces, created in the traditional Indian Miniature Painting style using techniques preserved for centuries.

This painting depicts an imperial Mughal court where the emperor receives nobles, military commanders, scholars and royal attendants beneath a magnificent ceremonial canopy. Every figure has been individually hand-painted with extraordinary attention to facial expressions, costumes, jewellery and architectural ornamentation, reflecting the refinement of the Mughal golden age.

Created on handmade Wasli paper using natural mineral pigments, gouache and genuine 24K gold, this artwork required months of patient work with a traditional single squirrel-hair brush. The fine detailing, layered colours and gold embellishments follow the authentic techniques practiced by master miniature painters of Rajasthan.

I am a Government Registered Master Artisan (Ministry of Textiles, Government of India), and this painting represents decades of dedication to preserving India's miniature painting heritage. Rather than simply recreating history, my aim is to keep this rare artistic tradition alive for future generations.

This is a unique collector's artwork intended for museums, serious collectors and lovers of historical Indian art.

Handmade Wasli Paper, Natural Mineral Pigments, Gouache, Genuine 24K Gold, Squirrel Hair Brush.
