Red train (2019) Original Watercolour by Elena Yuzefovich

This watercolor painting was made during my Trans-Siberian trip in 2019 and depicts the Lake Baikal Train that carries locals and tourists along the southern shore of the lake. At each stop, a throng of tourists pours out and spills over the landscape.

In 2020, this painting was selected as the official image for the 10th Matite in Viaggio exhibition in Venice, Italy.

The artwork is painted on high-quality Canson watercolor paper (42 × 29.7 cm / 16.5 × 11.7 in; cold-pressed, acid-free) using professional-grade Winsor & Newton and White Nights watercolors, chosen for their durability and excellent color permanence.

The painting is signed and dated and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
