Walls, borders, limits, definitions. They impose order to chaos. They make the world understandable and predictable. They demarcate space and sometimes time. But when space is cut in two, the only solution is just to cross the threshold ...
The painting is done on 100% fine-wave cotton canvas sealed with primer and plaster. After the graphite drawing fixed with medium, numerous glazes of acrylic color were applied to obtain the final result. The edges are painted so that the painting is ready to hang. The surface was then finished with a double layer of Lascaux Transparentlack 3-UV water-based satin varnish, which makes it resistant to UV rays and the passage of time ...
