The silences between one word and another suddenly bring back to the essential. It is the silences that make the hours go by without the haste to fill them. And they allow us to think of a perfect exit ...
This work is made with mixed media on canvas (extra-fine acrylic colors, modeling paste, collage). The background therefore has a material effect, consisting of parts in relief and engravings. The finishing of the edges and their thickness allow the work to be hung without the need for a frame. The surface of the painting has a double layer of water-based satin finish Lascaux Transparentlack 3-UV varnish, which make it resistant to UV rays and the passage of time ...
The painting will be part of the collective exhibition "Roots. Sublimation Man-Nature" at the OnArt gallery in Florence, from 23 July to 7 August 2021. Opening Friday 23 at 18:00
