Artwork description
Hummingbirds are back, flitting around zinnias and any other flower that is red or orange. I have some butterflies and a lot of grasshoppers, nibbling on the new leaves.
I drew this image onto linoleum and carved out the negative space. Then, I printed the raised areas onto Strathmore paper and colored it with watercolor and gouache.
