HORSE RACING 120 (2026) Original Oil Painting by Tatiana Fedorovskaya

200 x 125 x 4cm

£5,000

A piece from the "Circus" series. A Cubist whirlwind: horses and jockey-clowns all merge into a single, happy splash of color. I paint in an angular, vivid, almost childlike style because that is exactly how I remember it: too bright, too loud, too much happening all at once. I love how the sand I mix into the primer for the canvas creates a textured, scratchy surface. Felt balls dangle from the bottom, resembling the confetti that used to rain down from the big top during the show. For me, "The Horse Race" captures that moment when the world was at work, and I want to bring everyone who does that job back to it.
