Original artwork description
A dramatic seascape landscape painting of Holborn head a wild and remote rocky headland cliff in the northern Scottish highland county of Caithness near Thurso, close to John O'Groats, Scotland.
In this view I have tried to capture the clear light shining on the wind dried grass and the high cliffs, battered by the rough stormy seas.
Painted in a contemporary impressionist gestural style with a palette knife in pale blue and yellow colours.
Painted using quality artists oils on a square format 12" x 12" (30 x 30cm) canvas on board, with a varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
