Original artwork description:
From sketchbook study, May 2023.
This painting is on primed hessian, as shown. It's dimensions are not square but I would recommend that it is mounted and framed as square because this is all part of its history and provenance. It is unframed due to the cost and difficulty of transport from my remote Highland home. This reduces the cost also to the buyer, and is reflected in the sale price.
Materials used:
Spectrum oil paint, knives, sticks, paste medium.
