Original artwork description
Large Cartoon oil painting on deep boxed canvas . I focused on my favorite cartoon characters from my childhood - Batman and Robin , The Flintstones , Wilma, Pebbles , Barney Rubble and Officer Dibble . Its a nostalgic - pop art look at history but bringing it into modern day dynamics with an emphasis on what has affected us both with the Pandemic and the Black Lives Matter Movement . The Death of George Floyd should be a turning point for good to change the world we live in . I think he should be honored and symbolise peace in the same way Captain Tom captured the heart of the nation . In the same way how the Queen has been stoic and shown great strength in coping with everything she has endured . There are plenty of comparisons in reference to both heros and villians in this painting from the joker to trump and his fake news . The painting has a distressed effect around the lettering and is coated in a shiny glossy varnish. The painting also has a collage of old original beano comics and a monoploy board
