Hedgerow Morning (2024) Linocut by Kirsten Schmidt

This lino print was inspired by walking on Hampstead Heath here in London. Drawing the hedgerows and observing the birds made me create this image.
Lino prints are hand carved and then hand printed with a press.
This Ltd Edition print (100) is printed on 100% cotton thick Khadi paper, a top quality acid free paper.
The bright blue is one of my favourite ink I like to work with.
