Original oil on canvas painting depicting firey red iris flowers -

I'd never seen red bearded irises before! When I first saw them it was like love at first sight! Bearded irises are one of my favourite flowers and I have painted them often. I regard them as one of my "motifs" as they keep popping up in my work. I love the flow of these flowers which is why I like to capture them through my artistic expression. I have seen many purple ones of varying shades, yellow ones and some that are nearly black. Red ones? Well how could I resist....!
