This photograph captures the weathered façade of a crumbling neoclassical house in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where layers of age, peeling surfaces and architectural details reveal the passage of time. Once part of the city’s historic character, these ageing buildings stand in contrast to Hanoi’s rapid transformation, creating a quiet sense of nostalgia and impermanence.
