This original acrylic painting captures Hallstatt in Austria during the warm glow of autumn.
The village, church and surrounding mountains are interpreted through bold blocks of colour, expressive brushwork and layered texture. Deep blues and turquoise tones in the mountains and water contrast with luminous yellow, orange and red accents, creating a vivid impression of autumn light.
The artwork is part of my Chromatic Austria series, in which I explore Austrian landscapes through expressive colour and simplified forms rather than strict realism.
I created the painting with acrylic paint on stretched canvas, using brushes and palette knives to build layers, texture and energetic marks across the surface.
This is an original, one-of-a-kind artwork, signed by the artist. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
