In this series of abstract expressionist paintings, the artist strives not to convey a realistic image of the sunset, but to capture its emotional temperature and philosophical depth.

Each work is a sky experienced internally: pulsating brushstrokes, blurred horizon lines, a play of light and shadow that resembles the movement of thought more than a landscape.
Colors, shifting from gentle rose and lavender tones to saturated blues and near darkness, symbolize the different states of human perception when confronting both an end and a beginning.
