An Original Pencil Drawing by Paul Stowe - I lived in China for more than 12 years and amongst the 1000's of memories, tastes, sensations and experiences I took away from the country - the city of Guilin remains one of the strongest. Having lived in the mega-city of Shanghai with its 24 hour hustle and bustle - the trips to Guilin provided a much needed calm and serenity. This drawing invokes those feelings i had.
Drawn as always on smooth Bristol Board with Faber Castell 9000 series pencils and a Tomo Zero eraser - size for this drawing is 50cm X 65cm - Time Taken c40 hours.
The drawing is being sold unframed to reduce shipping costs - however It does have a bespoke frame made specially for it . if you are interested in buying the frame also just send me a message.
