A richly-textured acrylic painting of this majestic beast. I particularly love this painting as I started this during a painting workshop which I taught.
I loved what I'd achieved after a few short hours, so decided to continue working on it.
This painting has a very evocative, almost haunting mood, which I'll miss very much once it leaves my wall for it's new home.
I built up many layers of texture using oversized brushed and palette knives.
Varnished with UV resistant/ water resistant varnish.
Materials used:
Acrylic paints, painting medium, varnish
