This is about the power of imagination, where it can take you.
I've always had the image of a Griffin in my head, it seems to represent to me a creature who is free to live life on its own terms. This painting shows the power of his flight and the freedom to soar above the clouds. The child is joyful and exhilarated by the freedom of imagination.
I've repainted the childs face as I wasn't completely happy with it.
