Green is Good For You (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Linda Jones

I wondered how I could bring a little bit of calm into this world and read an article about the colour green and the positive effects it has on the human brain. It reduces anxiety and promotes harmony as well as many other good things. I felt moved to make an artwork out of different shades of green and realised I love working with this colour and the many shades that can be mixed within it. Now I plan to make a whole series of green paintings, hopefully they will bring a sense of calm to the rooms they find themselves in.
