Painted in acrylic with embellished details in pencil and ink fiery breasted biped is unfortunately endangered and is missing from most European countries apart from the likes of Portugal and Spain which remain a stronghold for 60% of the worlds great bustards.

The Great Bustard Group in the UK have done cracking work to reintroduce this lovely bird with their first release in 2004. In 2019 they achieved their goal of establishing a self-sustaining population of birds, which call Wiltshire their home.
