A reduction linocut of the Grand Union Canal twinkling through the low-hanging branches of a waterside tree.

A reduction print is a relief print formed with layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block, in this case, from lino. This is one of a small edition of prints, all of which are printed by hand so small variations occur between them making each one truly original.

Materials used:

Printed on Somerset Satin with water-based light-fast inks. Mounted to fit into a standard 12 x 16 inch frame.
