From childhood, I've been driven by a passion for creative expression. My artistic journey, beginning with watercolor landscapes and plein air painting, led me to abstraction as the truest expression of my inner world. As an abstract painter, my work arises from the interplay of chaos and control, motion and stillness, form and formlessness.
My practice channels energy and emotion onto canvas using unconventional rollers and squeegees. These tools extend my reach, amplifying gestures to create large-scale works that are physical manifestations of rhythm, intensity, and unseen forces.
The linear elements within my work symbolize unity, wholeness, and infinity, emerging organically as I surrender to the process. Each stroke embodies thought, feeling, and presence, demanding both discipline and surrender, transforming painting into a meditative journey of self-discovery.
Influenced by action painting's spontaneity and Zen art's stillness, my process merges movement and mindfulness. Engaging fully with my body, I allow inner landscapes to surface, revealing hidden layers of psyche and spirit. My fluorescent palette amplifies nature's vitality, while dynamic textures evoke a surreal, spiritual quality. Gradations within the work serve as visual metaphors for optimism, interconnectedness, and our dependence on the natural world.
