Golden Park Light (2024)Linocut

A reduction linocut inspired Stowe Lake in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. The glow of late evening is lighting up the trees by a lake and creating colourful reflections in the water. Two passing ducks create interesting ripples in the trees reflections.

A reduction linoprint is a relief print formed with layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block of lino. This is one of a small edition of prints, all of which are printed by hand so small variations occur between them making each one truly original.

This work is printed with water-based, light-fast inks on Somerset Satin paper and has a beautiful matt finish. Each individual print is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom, conservation mounted in a neutral colour and wrapped in cellophane to keep it clean. The mounted work will fit into a 16 x 12 inch frame.

This artwork will be packaged in a sturdy cardboard bookwrap.
