Original artwork description:

A large scale abstract with textured blue and gold. Inspired by one of my favourite places, the Tasman Peninsula. A rugged wild coastline, with a history to match. I have spent a lot of time there and feel a deep connection to the whole area. I find it incredibly beautiful and enchanting. In this piece I have captured a sense of the high dolerite cliffs and the sweeping ocean.
Painted on premium quality linen, this painting is in a bespoke frame of American white oak with a hand painted champagne gold face, which picks up the gold in the painting beautifully. (The frame is slightly thinner than it appears in the photo).
Part of my ongoing new Peninsula series that was launched at Denfair at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. There is a further Peninsula 2 painting that is available of the same size and the two paintings are very impressive together. Please see the photo of the two together. A special price of $11,000 USD is offered for the two paintings.
