Gespinst - Cocoon (2021) Original Collage by Karin Goeppert

This is a small collage work created of many layers of transparent Chinese silk paper.

I painted with high quality acrylic colors, oil colors, ink, watercolour on the paper and applied this then onto the MDF-board. The drawings were put under wax.

I worked on MDF-board, there is a hook integrated on the back of the board so that the work is ready to hang. Of course it should not be hung in a place where strong sunlight shines on it all day. If this is taken care of these artworks will have the same life span as any other - forever!
I worked with ink, watercolour, graphite, oil and wax on paper fixed on a MDF board.
