Oil, gesso, chalk painting
This is a huge piece I created in January 2022. By painting it on unstretched and unprimed canvas it gives it a really rough look. It has little and small bumps, rought brushstrokes and all other kind of painting techniques which makes it look really cool upclose. I used the oil masters technique to come to this piece, building up layer by layer. About 6 layers in total are used to make this huge portrait. It's finished with a highgloss varnish to give it a luxurious look. It will be shipped as an unstretched canvas, rolled in a tube. Feel free to reach out in case you prefer it differently.
