"Frozen Amber" is a captivating abstract triptych that explores the delicate balance between icy serenity and the hidden warmth of nature. The piece features a dramatic transition from deep, nocturnal indigos and charcoals at the base to an ethereal, misty white expanse at the top.
The soul of this artwork lies in its rich, tactile texture. Using professional-grade acrylics and structural gels, I have created a complex surface that invites the viewer not just to look, but to feel the depth of the composition. Genuine-looking gold accents are woven throughout the layers, resembling veins of ancient amber trapped within a frozen landscape, shimmering uniquely as the light changes in your room.
This non-representational work is a statement piece, designed to bring a touch of contemporary sophistication and "quiet luxury" to any modern interior — whether it’s a minimalist living room, a spacious office, or a serene bedroom.

The painting is gorgeous and looks amazing in my living room. I love to watch how the mood of the piece shifts as the light coming through my windows change. On a sunny day the yellows pop out and it is bright and perky, and in the evenings or during a storm, the blues and grays come out and it becomes broody and mysterious. It's never the same painting twice. There was some slight damage in shipping from the UK to USA, but Alex was very responsive and did everything to make it right. With his help I was able to make a small repair and it looks good as new! Thank you Alex!

Absolutely beautiful piece! The photos didn’t reveal that some of the paints are metallic so the colors shift based on lighting and position. It is even better in real life. Absolutely recommend this artist and his work.

This is the first piece I've bought from Alex, and it won't be the last. Fabulous painting, interesting and thought provoking. Alex responded to any questions I asked him through Artfinder and the piece arrived sooner than expected. The packaging was perfect and the art was undamaged. I can thoroughly recommend Artfinder and Alex. Thanks

We were worried we wouldn’t get our painting in time before travelling but we did. Alex was súper informative and communicative. The painting was very well protected and looks stunning in our living room.

Not only do I smile every time I walk past this wonderful painting- the experience buying it was flawless. The painting arrived at the agreed date - so well packaged we took time to peel off the layers of protection - and the picture is even more stunning in real life. Will certainly buy again!
