Fresh Grapefruit Still Life (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Dmitry Fedorov

Brighten your space with the vibrant energy of this original acrylic still life. Measuring 24x30cm on canvas board, this painting features a sliced grapefruit, captured with bold, expressive brushwork that emphasizes its juicy texture and radiant color.
This piece was created from life during the Strada Easel Challenge in January 2026. I was inspired by the dramatic contrast between the glowing citrus tones and the deep, moody background. The use of thick, painterly strokes brings a sense of immediacy and life to the composition, making it a perfect statement piece for a contemporary kitchen, dining area, or gallery wall. It’s a celebration of fresh beginnings and the simple beauty found in everyday objects.
