About the title:
Snow leopards are extremely rare, shy, and unfortunately also endangered animals. Their habitat in the high mountains of Asia is becoming increasingly fragmented and broken up. My coloured pencil drawing shows the beauty of an animal of which there may only be fractions (fragments) of a healthy population left in the wild. Furthermore, these majestic animals are also called the ghosts of the mountains.
