Artwork description:

‘Flora’

This original linocut print has been created using a block that has been hand carved and then inked and pieced together before being burnished onto the paper by hand. It is part of an edition of 50 and is printed on off-white/ivory, smooth, printmaking paper measuring 50cm x 65cm using oil based ink in black and metallic gold.

The image depicts a simplified female nude, to celebrate the beauty of the female form in its natural way. The peony flower replacing her head makes the figure appear almost goddess like.

This print is unframed.
