I was inspired by the mystery, the force of nature, the energy, the movement of fishes in the ocean. A gestural contemporary underwaterscape. Between abstract and figurative. Some see a deep forest, a woodland landscape. I see underwater.
I've used acrylic Golden and Liquitex. There's a lot of glazes, transparencies in the shadows. Glazes gives deep shadows to the water...
Differents sorts of green and blue-green colors, very deep.... with little red or yellow ocher graphisms.
Very few opacities...
The shadow, chiaroscuro, to magnify the light. Very strong contrast. To evocate the forces of the nature.
