The expressiveness of the FIGURE series I painted is enhanced by the use of color, sometimes soft, sometimes intense. The colors of the painting try to create a balance between the figure and the background, so as to make the final effect two-dimensional. In this way, the eyes and mouth are highlighted. The painting is textured. I move freely in the choice of colors so the image takes on a clear and usable but also interpretable sense. I love to paint simple color geometries in my paintings.
