This artwork belongs to a series called "Natural Flags", which are landscapes inspired by the work of landscapers, they can also be from trips I have made, or by photographs of places I have seen in magazines, on the internet, or listening to music.
This flag or landscape of more or less abstract shapes has a white background because it represents a sunrise.
In this case, this landscape is just an accidental diversion, but it deals with the subject of "speed painting" contests and what is valued in them. I don't like them nor do I enter these contests because I think painting is something else, it shouldn't be forced out unless it wants to. Anyway, everyone can do what they want. For this reason, I think I have painted the fastest painting in history, because it took me about five minutes to do it. It's silly but at the same time it raises something serious. That is why it is the first painting in style, no longer POP, but FEP (Fast Easy Painting), in honor of the album FUEL (File Under Easy Listening) by Bob Mould's Sugar band.
No frame is needed as the canvas has 3cm deep painted edges.
