Artwork description
Expressing emotions through creativity is another way to communicate what you cannot always put into words. Often, I draw inspiration from nature to convey a message. I chose the caterpillar's transformation to represent 'preparing to come out of your cocoon, getting ready to spread your wings', with the added 'no fucks given'.
The Caterpillar. Knowing that we have come to the end of our old identity and that we must make earthly changes to become the best version of ourselves.
The Chrysalis. Creating a protective space (a cocoon). A hidden space where conditioning, old structures and beliefs are dissolved.
The Butterfly. The final stage symbolises that the healed, authentic self can fly free and live life fully.
The Attitude: Loved ones may feel uncomfortable or threatened when you begin to grow and change. Unfortunately, some relationships can become toxic or resist any change in their dynamics. Your growth can inadvertently highlight their own lack of progress, leading to feelings of jealousy or resentment.
