Whatever happens, whether we like it or not, the family is and always will be the family. This canvas explores the heavy weight of inherited family patterns and generational trauma. The surreal juxtaposition of adult detachment against youth armed with weapons creates a profound psychological crossroads. It captures a deep inner tension, questioning how the actions, conflicts, and defense mechanisms of our relatives shape our own identity from childhood. It forces us to ask whether we can ever break free from these destructive patterns, or if we are forever bound by the raw reality of blood ties.
