The European roller, this vibrant long distant migrant is from a family of gorgeously gaudy birds, such as the lilac breasted roller and the Burmese roller. Look them up they’re a veritable buffet for the eyes!
As chicks they have a wonderful trick to deter would be predators, they throw up all over themselves! Delicious!
