Original artwork description
I was lucky to see the beuatiful cliffs of Etretat in late August. It was Gustave Courbet, who created here almost 150 years ago a famous serie of seascapes. This is a view of the cliff La Porte d'Aval from the "custom trail". The cool noon, cloudy sky gradually brightens, the tide quickly reveals a smooth rocky bottom, the color of the sea becomes emerald. Life is go on.
