A fragment of a child’s drawing emerges within a dense red field, only to be gradually overwhelmed by layers of paint and material decay. The surface appears wounded and unstable, as if the image has been exposed to pressure, abrasion, and time. What remains of the original drawing is incomplete and fragile, barely holding together within the painting’s structure. Rather than preserving the gesture, the work reveals the process of its erosion — the moment when expression dissolves into the material that carries it.
