To create this painting I was inspired by incredible sceneries in my last vacation in Crimea! I was in a sailboat enjoying perfect views, sunset, seagulls and our amazing nature! I remember that day! And now I see it on this paintig!
Do you like sailing ? What about me, I adore doing it! Such ideas like sea, yachts, boats, sailing inspire me a lot a they remind the sense of freedom, wind, happiness... And colours of that painting are also fantastic! Pink sunset shows that it's the evening, time to relax and meet the unforgettable sunset at the sea....
Oil like watercolor. This work was created in a unique technique that I have been looking for for a long time. I really wanted to have life in the picture. To feel lightness, freshness, expressiveness and, at the same time, mystery in it. More color, smudges, smears of paint. Less detail and less shape. The style of this work resembles impressionism, and the technique, as I call it: oil, like watercolor.
