Dunes, sea grasses, pools
Was nearing the end of the day,
As I walk the back of Gwithian beach,
I feel the dry stalks of the sea grasses,
Brushing past them as I tread,
The wanting and wishing of being here now,
Overwhelmed me on Boxing Day,
Knowing I was in the perfect surroundings,
Sharing this natural beauty with you.
Words and thoughts of my Christmas holiday in North Cornwall.
I had been here in the past but to be back here again was truly special and inspiring.
