“intertwined” explores the connection between the natural and the spiritual within the human experience.

Two silhouettes of the same woman represent two sides of one being: the body and the soul. One carries the weight of what is felt in the natural; the other embodies what is taking place in the unseen. The body cries, while the soul releases. The body aches, while the soul heals. What feels like breaking in the natural may, in fact, be watering something deeper in the spiritual.

“Intertwined” is a reminder that the body and the soul are not separate stories. They are intimately connected. Sometimes, what is being poured out through our tears is simultaneously cultivating something within us. What hurts in the natural can become the very thing that makes room for healing in the spiritual.
