This painting is part of a series inspired by my second experience of migration. It reflects on a question: where is home when you live between places? Is it made of familiar objects, daily rituals, and memories, or is it something we carry within us wherever we go?
I wanted to create the feeling of a dream, a quiet space between memory and reality. The bouquet of flowers becomes a symbol of comfort, celebration, and the small moments of beauty that help us feel safe and grounded. It is a reminder of the cozy worlds we create around ourselves, especially when life outside feels uncertain.
